HORE FAMILY REUNION

*** Can we fill the Wymah Valley Holiday Park with Hores for a weekend?  ***

Cheryl Peachey forwarded the information below about a Hore Family Reunion which initially was for William's line but they would like to invite members of any other branches (Descendants of John Hoare/Hore and Elizabeth Love) to attend.  It would appear that around half the descendants of this couple have connections to Albury Hore families anyway and the Tourist Park appears to be a appropriate venue for such a gathering.  It would be a great opportunity for those researching the Hoare/Hore family to get together and compare notes.

It is a case of making your own bookings at the Wymah Valley Holiday Park (14 Hore Rd, Wymah) where there is a variety of different accommodation available from "Poolside Villas", "Squatters Hut", "Leisure Unit", "Park View Cabin" to "Unpowered Camp Sites".  You should also contact either Cheryl or Gayle to let them know you will be attending or for additional information.  Management at the park would appreciate family members booking in early for the dinner on Saturday evening as they could have quite a lot of people to cater for and need accurate numbers before the weekend.

*** Maybe you could also provide additional information/photos to help with the PowerPoint presentation. ***

*** This is a huge family so it is suggested you book before the 31st July 2011 if you wish to atttend. ***

Hore Family Trees  (Links to information on each branch as found by Leanne Kellalea in her search to find: "Who raised Joseph Killalea born 1887 and known as Joe Hore?".  Leanne ended up with a database of 7959 descendants and connecting families in her efforts to solve that mystery.  It appears he was raised in William's line and somebody may even have a photo of him as a child and not know who he really was.

James O'Brien's web-site James is also a Hoare/Hore descendant and has a lot of information and photos on his web-site.
