Setting record straight on remuneration
I feel obligated to respond to Ed Gilmore's letter (Mercury, June 28).
I do not receive any remuneration for being Shellharbour council's representative on Killalea State Park Trust, or for any committees, working parties, boards or any other organisations I may belong to or represent the council on.
As far as I know, the only councillor who receives remuneration for sitting on any council nominated board is our representative on the Lake Illawarra Authority.
